I bought this for a family member to get them off the dinosaur age of HDDs. I had them count the boot time of their games and then the loading time of their games. It was typically 1 minute to 3 minutes on their favorite games via the HDD. I then installed the NVMe and had them move their games to the new storage device and then re-do their counts. 3 seconds to boot, with the "worst" being 5 seconds. The average load up time? 10 seconds. They were completely stunned. It's always nice to see people who aren't into technology or really know much about how these things work, notice the difference. This was an extremely well worth it purchase. I only wish I had spent more and gotten them the 2TB instead, but who knows? Maybe I'll do that in the future, get their boot off that small SSD SATA. ;) A perfect solution. No regrets at all!
