Pros and Cons: What Customers Are Saying
Speed and Performance
One of the standout features of the Fikwot FN501 Pro is its blazing-fast speed. Customers have praised its ability to significantly reduce loading times for games and applications. One reviewer noted, “Loading a game is faster, no doubt. I took a chance on this, and I’m glad I did.” Another user highlighted its performance in data transfer, stating, “Great 2TB SSD, very fast data transfer and opens files really quick.”
However, some users pointed out that the drive’s performance can vary depending on the setup. For instance, one reviewer mentioned, “Works as it should, but you can definitely see the lack of a decent cache when used with a Thunderbolt 4 NVMe adapter.” While this isn’t a dealbreaker for most users, it’s worth considering if you plan to use the drive in unconventional configurations.
Ease of Installation
The FN501 Pro is designed for hassle-free installation, making it a great choice for both beginners and experienced users. One customer shared, “Easy to install, just be careful with the small screws so you don’t lose them.” Another user appreciated its compact size, saying, “It’s tiny. Has about as much material in it as an old spinning drive’s connectors.”
However, the drive’s small size might be a double-edged sword for some. While it’s convenient for compact builds, it also means you need to handle it carefully during installation.
Storage Capacity and Value
With a 2TB capacity, the FN501 Pro offers ample space for large files, games, and applications. One reviewer described it as “a perfect solution for upgrading the memory on my laptop,” while another called it “a great bargain for the price.”
That said, a few users noted that the actual usable storage is slightly less than advertised. One customer mentioned, “Alright, not too far off in terms of MBPS, but it doesn’t have a perfect 2.0TB—it has 1.9TB.” While this is common with most storage devices due to formatting, it’s something to keep in mind if you need every last gigabyte.
Durability and Cooling
The graphene cooling sticker is a standout feature that helps maintain optimal performance by preventing overheating. Customers have praised its effectiveness, with one user stating, “It’s a workhorse because I use my laptop all the time, and it’s a great bargain for the price.”
The drive’s durability is further reinforced by its 1,280TBW rating and 3-year warranty, giving users peace of mind. However, as with any storage device, long-term reliability can vary. One reviewer expressed cautious optimism, saying, “Hope it lasts awhile.”
Conclusion: Is the Fikwot FN501 Pro Worth It?
The Fikwot FN501 Pro 2TB NVMe SSD is a solid choice for anyone looking to upgrade their storage without breaking the bank. Its impressive speed, efficient cooling system, and ample storage capacity make it a versatile option for gamers, professionals, and everyday users alike.

a perfect solution for upgrading the memory on my laptop. these days you with larger programs and data , you need more space and this helps to do that . in my case , easy to install , just be careful with the small screws so you dont' loose them. its a workhorse because i use my laptop all the time and is a great bargain for price . my laptop is much faster and i have the space i need for my programs. I consider this a win.
Great price for fast extra storage NVMe
Wow I thought my first ssd was fast BITD. I read a few reviews mostly the bad ones. I decided on this lil guy bc of price. Take a chance on a 100 bones. It's pretty good so far. Loading a game is faster no doubt. Hope it last awhile. Like any drive easy enough to install n allocate but it is a little card not a boxed ssd or spiny drive. It's tiny. Has about as much materials in it as an old spiny drives connectors. If I had another bay for it I get another. Gamer to gamer get 1 install it make sure it works. If it's DOA send it back right away. Don't wait a month. I'll update if it stops working.
Alright not too if line mbps but also doesn’t have a perfect 2.0tb has 1.9tb
Great 2tb ssd very fast data transfer and open really quick also very reliable I would recommend it because I have 2 other types Samsung Evo and they seem to be slower great customer support and service also 5 stars
Works as it should but you can definitely see the lack of a decent cache when used with a thunderbolt 4 nvme adapter (you are probably not going to use the drive this way). Except for that the drive is solid.
Title says it all. It works great. Speed is quite fast. I took a leap of faith, and I am glad I did. I have had no issues, and it works fine. If you are looking to upgrade and not go past 1tb, you cannot go wrong with this one.
