2 SSD to use as a secondary file storage drive in the new Beelink SER8 Mini PC that I recently bought

I purchased this Crucial1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD to use as a secondary file storage drive in the new Beelink SER8 Mini PC that I recently bought. This is the same exact 1TB Crucial SSD that already comes installed in the Beelink SER8 Mini PC as the boot drive, so they match perfectly. Also, since I have seen this question asked many times now, and I don't actually see the M.2 SSD slot size specification in the Amazon listing anywhere. This Crucial SSD is the longest size 2280 M.2 form factor. However, the M.2 2280 specification is actually shown on the Crucial SSD in the listing photos several times, but product photos aren't always accurate. This should hopefully clear up any confusion about the actual SSD size. The Crucial line of products are all made by MICRON, one of the largest and highest quality memory manufacturers in the world, so they are all very high-quality computer memory and storage drive components. I usually either purchase Samsung or Crucial memory and storage drives when building or upgrading computers. However, Crucial components always seems to be "on-sale" for nearly half the price as the equivalent Samsung products (as was this Crucial SSD), so most of the time I wnd up going with Crucial just for that reason. This Crucial SSD installed easily into the second M.2 NVME drive slot on the Beelink SER8 Mini PC motherboard. It was also immediately recognized by Microsoft Windows 11 Professional on boot-up. This Crucial SSD initialized and formatted (GPT/NTFS) with no issues at all. Once up and running the file transfer read and write speeds are very fast, and the drive temperature stays relatively cool under burn-in stress tests. Also, for those reviewers complaining that the actual capacity of these Crucial (or any other brand) SSDs is lower than advertised, that is perfectly normal. Due to computer "math" and memory overhead in any type of storage drive, the actually capacity will always be a little less than the advertised capacity. I have been an I.T. professional for over 25 years, so I have a lot of experience dealing with this drive capacity "issue." Overall, I highly recommend these Crucial SSDs, as well as all other Crucial products. These Crucial SSDs are easy to install/configure, fast, inexpensive, and they run cool. In fact, I still have some older 2.5 inch Crucial SSDs that have been in service for over 12 years, and they are still running like they are brand new. Pick up one (or a few) of these Crucial SSDs today. Trust me when I say, they are a great product!

2 SSD! I've been using it in a RAID setup for video editing and storage, and it's been an absolute star

I'm blown away by the Crucial P3 Plus 4TB PCIe Gen4 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD! I've been using it in a RAID setup for video editing and storage, and it's been an absolute star. Its reliability is INCREDIBLE although I have come to expect that from CRUCIAL - zero issues, zero downtime, and zero data corruption. It's clear that Crucial has once more hit a home run with this drive! Its speed? LIGHTNING FAST. I've seen sequential read and write speeds that are simply stunning. Video editing and rendering are now faster than ever, and I can finally focus on creating instead of waiting for my computer to catch up. Layered and corrected 6K video at full rez. NO PROXIES needed! If you're in the market for a high-capacity, ultra-fast SSD for demanding applications like video editing, look no further than the Crucial P3 Plus. It's a game-changer. Five stars, and I'd give it more if I could!"

It's installed in the second M

I needed some additional disk space in my Alienware X17 R2 and got this during a sale for a decent price. It's installed in the second M.2 slot and so far, is working out fantastically. Crucial is a trusted brand that is well known for its reliable and durable RAM and SSDs. Pros Performance is a lot faster than I expected. Please see my attached CDM results. Cons None so far. I'm not a pro builder, but I've built a few PCs for friends and family. I got some good advice from other friends who are more adept and up to speed with the latest technologies. They all agreed that unless the people getting these systems are in need of higher performance for work or gaming, Crucial has always been the dependable choice and will save me headaches along the way.

It runs smoothly, was easy to install, stays at decent temps, is fast, came with a screw for installation, was easy to format and install OS and drivers on, and was compatible with my system

I needed something fast and large for games, streaming, recording, and vid/audio editing so I got the 2 terabyte SSD. It runs smoothly, was easy to install, stays at decent temps, is fast, came with a screw for installation, was easy to format and install OS and drivers on, and was compatible with my system. It's a great value for the storage and I really trust crucial, never had a hard drive or ssd fail from them. My papa (computer tech person) likes them too and has used a lot of crucial brand storage devices through the years with no issues. I used it in my build which I posted on YT, my channel is carisneat123 and the video is titles: Carisneat123 | First PC Build | goodbye low fps gaming If any one is interested in the unboxing, installation, software download, and usage. It passed all my stress tests and is downloading games like Cod, warcraft, ark, and more in under an hour. (Only can go so far with the WiFi speed on these) And it transfered 500gb of pictures and data from my old SSD in about 2 hours.

Haven't seen any issues with it yet

After I received this, took about 30 min to clone my existing drive to it and then repartition it. Haven't seen any issues with it yet. If it lasts for a year will raise it to 5 stars.
