I put this in my wife's HP lap top replacing a mechanical drive. It was an easy install and after reloading windows and adding 8 more gigs of ram it is fast and once more useful.
I like that the person who I had set up my PC up with this drive set it up so that the processing of my data is done by the fast SSD drive and when it starts to get full I simply move it over to the much larger and slower 2 TB SATA storage drive which is also in the computer. I use the slower drive to store data that I want to keep but almost never access and the fast drive to do my work with. Works great. The guy who installed the drive for me set it up because I don't know how as it needed an additional port installed so I could use this drive. He said it was very easy to install and didn't cost me much to get it done.
