This SSD is perfect for gaming, video editing, and running virtual machines, as it handles large files and intensive applications with ease.

Another reviewer shared, "I've noticed a significant improvement in load times for games and virtual machines. They are now faster and more responsive than ever before." Whether you're transferring large files or booting up your system, the SABRENT Rocket 4 Plus delivers exceptional performance.

Storage Capacity: Room for Everything

With a massive 4TB of storage, this SSD offers plenty of space for your games, applications, and multimedia files. One customer mentioned, "Building out a new desktop and the OE card was only 1 GB and filling up fast. Bought this and an enclosure to clone the OE and replace it." The ample storage ensures you won’t run out of space anytime soon, making it ideal for power users and content creators.

Ease of Installation: Plug-and-Play Simplicity

Installation is a breeze, thanks to the M.2 form factor and PCIe interface. Users have reported that the SSD is easy to install, even for those who aren’t tech-savvy. One reviewer said, "Installation was a breeze, and I appreciated the simplicity of the process, as I didn't need to consult any additional directions beyond my motherboard's manual." The included Sabrent Acronis True Image for Sabrent Software also makes cloning your existing drive a seamless experience.

Durability and Reliability: Built to Last

While the SABRENT Rocket 4 Plus SSD delivers exceptional performance, it comes with a premium price tag. Some users mentioned that they wished they had opted for a smaller capacity to save money. For example, one reviewer said, "I wish I had gotten the 2TB drive, instead of the 1TB, but they're pretty on-par in terms of performance and I couldn't justify the price jump." However, most agreed that the performance and storage capacity justify the cost.

Easy to install and fast!

I wish I had gotten the 2TB drive, instead of the 1TB, but they're pretty on-par in terms of performance and I couldn't justify the price jump

She is fast. I wish I had gotten the 2TB drive, instead of the 1TB, but they're pretty on-par in terms of performance and I couldn't justify the price jump. I have this as my OS drive under Windows 11 on an MSI MPG Z790 Carbon WIFI II mobo on the single PCIE 5 slot, 22% utilization and no over-provisioning. Benchmarks are sweeeeet, though lower than others, I attribute it to the OS being busy.

Bought this and an enclosure to clone the OE and replace it

Building out a new desktop and the OE card was only 1 GB and filling up fast. Bought this and an enclosure to clone the OE and replace it. This comes with a clone version of Acronis software but I did not need it as I have the full version already installed. Replaced the OE and rebooted and clone process was flawless. Computer runs faster with this card installed.

The SSD came in a tin box that was easy to open, yet provided ample protection during shipping

Upon receiving the Sabrent 2TB Rocket 4 Plus in early December 2023, I was immediately impressed by the well-packaged product. The SSD came in a tin box that was easy to open, yet provided ample protection during shipping. Installation was a breeze, and I appreciated the simplicity of the process, as I didn't need to consult any additional directions beyond my motherboard's manual, which led me to this purchase in the first place. That and another performance SSD Company's issues with drive failures... Performance-wise, the Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus has lived up to its specifications and exceeded my expectations. Running on a Windows 11 machine with no page file (as I don't use it to reduce SSD wear.), I've noticed a significant improvement in load times for games and virtual machines. They are now faster and more responsive than ever before. In comparison to my previous setup of a RAID 0 array with four 500GB SSDs on a RAID card for buffering, the Rocket 4 Plus puts that configuration to shame with its superior speed and efficiency. I cannot wait to do some video editing on this in the future. I find the potential for future enhancements exciting. I'm eagerly anticipating the release of motherboards that can support more M.2 drives at full speed. The prospect of configuring this SSD in a RAID 0 cluster, with a controller that unleashes its full potential, is something else I'm looking forward to experiencing. For those interested in the specifics of my setup, the machine housing the Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus boasts the following specifications: CPU: 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-11900K @ 3.50GHz (Overclocked to 5100 MHz) Motherboard: MSI MPG Z590 GAMING PLUS RAM: 128GB Corsair DDR4-3200 (4x32GB) GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti with 16GB VRAM Storage: Sabrent SB-RKT4P-2TB NVMe SSD Displays: Three Dell U2412M monitors (24 inches, 1920x1200 pixels) OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Professional 64-bit In conclusion, the Sabrent 2TB Rocket 4 Plus NVMe 4.0 Gen4 PCIe M.2 Internal SSD is an exceptional storage solution that delivers on its promise of extreme performance. Whether for gaming, virtualization, or general use, this SSD is a game-changer that I highly recommend.

I used the Rocket 5 1TB in my new 2025 HP Pavilion 16 (AMD Ryzen 8840U) model, the model has a gen 4 NVMe slot but i got a gen 5 so i didnt have to worry about any bottlenecks from the drive, and o.m.g. downloads are smooth to where the CPU is the limiting factor or the network speed is. came in a small box that had a little metal box that had thick, dense foam padding for the drive. it says somewheres "DO NOT REMOVE STICKER AS IT IS USED FOR A HEATSINK" or something along those words, didnt remove it and im getting great temps. idk about how its read and write speeds are at 100%, all i know is: it is great as a day to day drive and well worth the 160 i paid for

I can move large games from drive to drive in under 3 minutes I have have many from Sabrent in the past no issues

If you have the extra money to spend I recommend this high speed gen 5. I can move large games from drive to drive in under 3 minutes I have have many from Sabrent in the past no issues
