I replaced the NVMe M.2 drive in my aging gaming PC with this one, and I'm very pleased. It worked perfectly right out of the box, and the build quality feels good. So far, it's running great and has given my system a noticeable boost. Definitely happy with this purchase.
I bought my wife a Lenovo ideapad 3 - 15ITL05 laptop last year. Was working normally then, out of nowhere, we got locked out of the computer. After many tiring attempts at trying to get into Windows, we discovered that a Windows app named BitLocker was enabled and keeping us from getting into the system. We tried finding the key to unlock it, no luck. Tried to clean install Windows 11 and Windows 10, no luck. So finally, I opened it up, removed the factory drive (128 gb NVMe M.2) and ordered this masterpiece. Installation was very easy, had to go into BIOS and disable Intel VMD to be able to select the drive in the Windows installation prompt, then proceeded to install Windows 10 Home 64-bit. I went with Windows 10 because this computer is low-end and I thought it would be more efficient. After the install and setting up some apps like Chrome and installing some drivers, I did a restart. And O-M-G, this thing went from the push of the power button to the desktop screen in about 6 seconds flat. At just $65, Amazon and Samsung has come through for me to no disappointment. Will be ordering more of these 1 tb monsters. Easy, cheap and super effective. This is the best upgrade from a hard drive. This really makes the biggest difference from booting from hard drive to an SSD. It takes a whopping 8 seconds to turn on and load up all my applications after pressing the power button on my PC. I have no knowledge how to build a PC or how to install SSDs into a motherboard. After watching a couple videos, I was able to figure it out. It was easy to click into the motherboard. I also notice a significant difference when downloading anything. The speeds are really quick if you have the right internet set up. This is one of the most crucial accessories to a PC build!

La unidad Samsung 980 es una maravilla. Ya tengo dos años con ella y ha funcionado a la perfección. Cuando la puse en mi computadora se sintió de inmediato la diferencia en rendimiento. La velocidad de carga es muy rápida y el rendimiento general del sistema ha mejorado significativamente. A pesar de que Samsung son lo mejor en SSD, no son muy costosos respecto a otras marcas. Recomiendo totalmente este SSD para cualquiera que quiera actualizar de un disco duro o SSD SATA a un M.2.
