Comments from Amazon:
For gaming : Installation speed is limited by download speed or transfer speed from the drive your back ups are, and won't add to FPS. Gave it a 5 anyway since it's doing what I need it to do as a game drive - which is have reasonably fast PCIE4.0 and enough capacity (in this case, 2TB) for the least amount of money. In January 2024, this was the best value by my reckoning unless it underperformed in unexpected ways, or outright broke, but I can't test it longer term yet. So far it works as a game drive and photo editing drive. For media editing : Only re-did an HDR photo edit and it's really fast for that. DRAM cache would be a plus though if you're copying stuff into the drive but given the pricing for SSDs I decided to skip that for the ~3/4 game drive and ~1/4 temporary photo editing drive and instead of spending another $50 to $70 just for the DRAM cache I decided to just upgrade my DDR5 system RAM. If you edit media professionally you might want to still get DRAM cache. Ease of Install : This has to do with your laptop/motherboard+case than the NVME drive. It was easy on my 2023 TUF A15 (6800h, 3060), but YMMV on another computer. Value for Money : $95 for 2TB, PCIE4.0x4 was a great bargain in January 2024; but only because it isn't mid-2023 anymore when this and other drives were going for less. Added only as 3/4 game drive, 1/4 media editing drive (didn't actually partition it) but when I upgrade the included boot drive in my laptop when SSD health drops below 90% I'll probably get an NVME with DRAM cache depending on how prices are like by then.
I purchased this hesitantly because of the price. I also purchased an external device to host this drive. It worked the very first time and I’ve had no problems with this device in any setting be on the motherboard or in the external drive. Transfer speeds, meet all expectations and claims And heat dissipation is nominal.
I purchased 2 of these for my old UDR3 X58 Desktop PC. I installed them into available PCIe slots via M.2 Nvme PCIe adapters. Since the X58 PCIe is only version 2.0, their read / write speeds are consistently about 1800 mbs, which is still considerably faster than my fastest USB 3.0 speeds and Sata speed of 330mbs. I normally purchase Samsung SSDs but decided to give these a try since the received very good reviews and were half the price as the Samsung counter parts. So far after a month of use, they are stable and function as advertised. Since my PCIe is only version 2.0 these SSDs will never develop heat like they would in PCIe 3.0 or 4.0 and should last a long time. I would recommend these as a good budget friendly alternative to big name brand M.2 Nvme SSDs.

Pricing and availability will determine whether it stands out among the competition. Best amount of storage for the price
So far so great. Easy install, Win 10 or 11 picked it up no prob in a external enclosure, and running like a champ.
