Just got it a week ago. Reformatted it and it works great. Note it could work if you live in Europe (240V) but you'll need an adaptor. Very fast and nicely repackaged just like new.
This review is for the 6tb model. Well the delivery was fairly (3 days) quick so I opened it up and discovered it was quite bulky, but it fit (flatly )on the top of my PS4, it's bulk was was no big deal (it's not like I'm carrying it everwhere). Seems to stay cool after long gaming session. Now for the confusing part, I plugged it, attached my USB and booted I head the PS4 humm and a blue strip of light lit up on the HD. I breathed deep (I've had horrible luck with external HD) and went to settings found my device and what I say next will shock you... it was running perfectly. I redownaded some games I had to uninstall to save space, everything worked, and the drive easily plays games on it (I thought there would be some lag or fps issue, or slow download speed, but no. I was wrong) Anyone who wants to increase their PS4 memory quickly and easily there's no better option. Ps. The complete total formatted size is around 5.50 tb, this is normal for most (if not all) hard drives.
I use it for my PS4 Pro. I love the additional storage at a great price and it’s quiet and works well.
Works great. The only reason for 4/5 stars is that the light bar on it when in use is SO BRIGHT it's distracting under the TV. Honestly... WHY? Aside from that it works great, I guess I'll put some electrical tape over the 3 inch bright light lol

I bought this drive to give my PS4 more memory. It worked for a month then started having booting problems. It would not connect and my games would not load. When I bought it I saw it had two year warranty, so I contacted the vendor. They immediately responded, sent me a mailing label, and told me that once I sent back my old one they would send me a new one. Sure enough, I sent mine back, and before I knew it, a new drive arrived. I really appreciated their quick response and now my drive is connected with all the games back on it. Thank you!!!!!
