Very fast read and write speeds (around 1.9 gb/sec) when writing large video files. Product is as advertised. Also, shipping was very fast.
This is exactly what I needed. Small, easy to carry and had a small bag to put it in. Easily recognized by my computer.
The product is a nice size and packaged well. It does not perform at the write speeds stated. I did file copy tests and was quite disappointed. I did 3 tests - picture data, compressed DB data, and PDFs. In each case this I was able to transfer (via Windows copy / paste) to this device at speeds between 5 MB/s and 14 MB/s. I used the USB cable and USB-C adapter that was supplied with it. I performed the exact same copy tests on the same computer, same USB3 port with my older 2.0 USB HDD drive. The older drive performed at double in each test (15 - 30 MB/s. I only test write speed - I did not test read speed (as this doesn't apply to my need).
Swapped my old sshd external on Xbox series s to this, fast affordable and simple setup. Very small and fits anywhere, for easy storage expansion at a good price can’t go wrong with this!
