I've had this for a few months now and it seems to work very well and is reliably fast. First, it was the C drive for and older computer and greatly sped up booting. Now in a new computer, it is a secondary drive holding pictures and video. It works fast and well in this capacity.
Direct replacement for my old hard drive, no adapters needed. This greatly increases speed of the Linux Ubuntu computer. No issues seen yet.
Have been using it in my home server for ~9 months and no issues at all with it. For it's price, I am very glad that it gets the job done.
Works as it should
Opened my computer case, plugged it into my sata cables on my desktop machine. Went to disk management tool in Windows 11, formatted GTO patrician. Assigned it to my D: drive. Copying files within 2 minutes. So far so good. Hopefully it lasts.
Very economical & extremely worthwhile investment if you have any mechanical drives still chugging along. Breathed new life into three of my friends old computers. For the price you can't beat the performance improvement. The benefit outweighs the price at least three-fold. Thermal paste also super worthwhile. A little dab'll do ya.
